How do I combine several AutoCAD files into one .dxf file with multiple sheets (one sheet per CAD file)? Thanks!

This seems to me to be an obvious feature that would be built in - so I think I am just missing something.  I have a 12 page schematic that is saved in AutoCAD as one page per AutoCAD file.   What I am trying to do is take first AutoCAD file/page, open it in DraftSight, and then import or “add” the second AutoCAD file (i.e. the 2nd page of the schematic) to the first page as a second 'sheet' in DraftSight; then add the third CAD file/page as a third sheet etc. The end result I am looking for is to have all 12 AutoCAD files in one DraftSight DXF file with each page as a separate sheet within that one “big” .dxf file.
