I'm trying to define a block attribute that will stay horizontal when rotating the corresponding block. I looked into this and found several forum posts from AutoCad recommending the 'match text orientation to sheet' feature in the text styles menu. Since a similar feature exists in Draftsight, I thought I'd try it.

However, when I create an attribute using a text style with this option enabled, the text still rotates when I rotate the block.

Am I using this feature incorrectly or is it just broken? Any suggestions for a solution?
