I have some DWG files from a site survey of my house. I would like to draw some boxes (cars, a new garage) and be able to specify the dimensions of the boxes and measure how far they are from features in the survey (trees, walls, setback lines).

I drew some lines but they scale with the viewport - they always stay the same size on the screen whether I zoom in or out so they're basically useless. I need help figuring out how to fix the position of these boxes relative to everything else in the survey.
