Help Accessing Hidden AutoCAD Notes

Hello,

I have an AutoCAD drawing, but don't have the AutoCAD program handy at the moment. When I open this 13MB .dwg drawing in Draftsight and double-click the center mouse wheel to bring all of the drawing to view,  I drag my mouse across the screen and select 750 entities. I can zoom way out to make sure I select everything,  I think I have everything selected. This drawing only shows two layers which are both set to view, unfrozen and unlocked.

When I do a CTRL-A on this drawing, Draftsight reports that it has 450,000 entities selected. I notice most of these entities are labeled as Notes and Simple Notes. With my window drag method, it selects 4 notes. A CTRL-A selects 417,000 notes. I would like to see, select, and probably delete these extra notes.

What I have done was to selectall and then deselect the drawing which I do actually see and delete from there. That seems to take care of it, but I am still not sure what I deleted.

How can I gain access to these notes? Thank you!
