A suggestion to improve Draftsight. I go into and out of Esnap and Ortho multiple times during a design. I lose track of the status of these conditions and have to therefore make corrections during editing or creating. A headsup display toolbar which would have different colors assigned for different states would be able to be observed by peripheral vision while executing a design on the main screen would be extremely helpful. It could be designed to also show the snap and polar states. I don't think anyone uses all of the possible states, so for indicating 3 states assigned by the user would require 8 different colors.
