When I try to print a drawing it emerges from the printer and at the incorrect scale.

 In addition the printing is widely offset from the centre of the sheet (A4)

Adjusting the settings in the plotting dialogue box does not cure the problem,it merely 

offsets the drawing in a different direction. My printer is an hp deskjet 1500. I dont know if the problem lies with it,

Though it has functioned well for a considerable time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
