i am a surveyor and i always use raster images from satellites (large type of images like .tif, .jpg with 4-9mb or more) and with the image files, always come with GEOCODIG INFORMATION. Thes files (likes .prj and .jgw) have the position, scale, and rotation for Georeferece the image automatically when this is inserterd.

Must programs like Autocad and Bricscad have this feature, but Draftsight don't have it in the INSERT -> RASTER IMAGE.
