Hi All.

Brand new to draftsight.  No CAD history other than small amounts of usage in highschool days, 10 years ago.  

Just Brought a house with my partner approx 90sqm (metric).  I had been hand drawing some floor plans but have decided against hand drawings and chosen to go the CAD path, this should hopefully save me considerable time in the design/drawing phase my intentions are to work up to a full set of construction drawings once we have settled on a floor plan, that i could issue to trades for tender/construction..  I have a few questions that you may be able to help me with.

• Have i downloaded the right program for the given scope above?  Ideally i will be able to create elevations, Joinery details, generate a concise furniture plan, Sections etc i.e. a full architectural set of drawings.
• I think most importantly i can create elevations from our floor plan? Is this possible with Draftsight or am i going to have to draw every elevation from scratch?
