I am not sure if this is an issue that I accidentally created or something actually wrong with DraftSight..

I've been using DraftSight for almost three years now and believe it is a really great program. Just recently though, I've been having issues with the trim and extend commands. I've been using these commands the same since I first downloaded the program. Click on the command, Click Enter, and then off I go extending/trimming (automatically trimming to the next intersection OR automatically extending to the next intersection). What's happening now is it will only trim or extend a partial section of a line.

crude trim example;    ___I_______   ______I____  instead of    ___I                     I_____        

(will only trim small non-uniform segments)

Crude extend example; ____I__             I______     instead of ____I_________I_____

(will only extend small non-uniform segments with each click) 

I realize these are very crude examples but am hoping it is enough to identify the problem.
