DraftSight has the option to export stereolithography (.stl) files, but I cannot seem to get it to work. After entering the filename, I am prompted to "Specify a single solid for STL output" but when I pick a 3d solid (e.g., a sphere), the program responds "No solid selected."

Does this export function work? If so, how does one select a solid object for export?
