Usually I do all the drafting in model view and then I do the dimensioning on viewports inside several layouts. I'm using Draftsight recently so I can't remember if I messed up the configuration trying to fix the jerky cursor problem.

So, when I try to dimension the drawing I just can't get it done becasue it won't snap at the endpoints, or any other point, like midpoint, quadrant, or center. eSnap is on.

Any ideas?
