Just wanted to post this if anyone has this error installing Draftsight 2023 

In my case this ended up being caused by the fact that my Documents folder was pointed in Windows to my storage drive D: 

So even though Windows links everythin that is sent to documents to my D drive Documents folder the installer wouldn't create the path as Documents didn't exist in C. I had to revert my Documents back to my C drive then install to fix this issue. Once completed I was able to move my Documents folder back. 

I'm just glad I had enough room to do it. There is a lot of red harings out there on this subject and it took 4 hours to figure out but I eventually did. Hopefully this helps someone
