Error 1320 during installation

Hi there,

I am am attempting to install the latest version of Draftsight onto windows 7 professional (x64) but receive a 1320 error during installation.

I am aware that there is an earliear thread on this but I see there has been no response to an existing question within the thread, hence I started a new thread.

No work around proposed by draftsite on the provious threads have worked, there is no Appdata folder within the program data folder to rename/copy/delete.  There is one under users though even when logged in as admin renaming the folder is not permitted.

I see that others have tried to have Microsoft assist in the matter

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_programs/software-install-gives-error-1320-filename-too/91e6ba3f-0974-4898-8d89-d610b9db2949?msgId=3a15ccf2-b4f9-4918-ba6d-21dddac2dd34&tab=question&status=AllReplies&status=AllReplies#tabs

but this has not worked either, Microsoft has advised that the vendor (Draftsight) be contacted)

I would like to try your software but I am unable to.

I find it curious that Draftsight does not permit the user to specify the location where on the PC a program is installed to.
