mac OSX 10.7.5 DS2015

When starting a line the entity snaps work, but when finishing the line it does not work unless I shift+right click to bring up snap menu and select which snap I need.  This is too time consuming.  Especially when dimensioning I must have the snaps working properly.  Please provide a fix or patch or if there is a setting somewhere that I can change to correct this behavior.
