In AutocadLT 2006 you can select DYNamic mode.  When you start drawing something ie. a rectangle, at the mouse it gives you the ability to see the position of the mouse pointer from the original start point.  This allows you to draw a box to the correct size.

The other good thing about it is you can just type in the size of the box, ie 300, click 400 and a box 300 by 400 is created.

Does DRaftsight have this function on screen.??
