Windows 7 prof

A dwg with many sheets does not display the items on the sheet. The item are selectable but not viewable. 

New items drawn on the sheet will not appear. 

Can it be that viewports with different scales are the cause of the problem?  

Do not tell me to reinstall.

Reopening in A causes A to crash. Recover was not possible.
