Having used DS2016 ok on fedora 24 I now cannot start ds 2018 after upgrading to f25,26 and 27. Doesn't matter whether root or user, running from command line or Applications menu.

Version is draftsight.x86_64 2018.1.0.2094-1.

After starting from user gui a popup stating "unable to launch crash report process" comes up with the option of saving the drawing but you cannot. if you click yes to save the popup disappears and the program closes.

Same result when running as root from command line.

Haven't found any answers on the forum or google search.

Kernel is 4.14.14-300.fc27.x86_64.
