A new version of the DS 2021 SP0 that I installed was released. I use DS in the PRO version mainly for creating mine and surface mapping documentation.

So far, I have little experience and do not use the DS to design machines and related functions (G-code Generator...), but the upgrade from the previous version as well as the import of settings from the previous version went off without a hitch. As in the previous version, DS was able to turn off loading unnecessary add-ons for me. In even earlier versions, I had to first change the rights to the relevant files so that, as a logged-in digestive, I could change them load or not after startup, etc.

Developers managed to eliminate the problem of displaying a solid color fill type in the model when setting the model's background color other than black, which consisted of displaying unwanted hatches of a different color in the pad. This issue did not exist until the 2019 SP3 version, and from the 2021 SP0 version, displaying fills in the model is again correct.

I also tried to import a map from the *.dgn format and the functionality of my own VBA application for boreholes, and everything worked just like the previous version. The new version of DS 2021 SP0 is declared by the manufacturer as having improved compatibility with the drawings created in the SW Autodesk. There has been no stability problem during the short period of testing so far.
