Help anyone?

Thursday I was working on this with no problems.

Friday, I came into work and there was nothing in model space on my drawing. As I scrolled around, I could see lines pop up and go away. So, for the heck of it, I selected my entire screen with a box and all of my drawings showed up -- but dotted. If I tried to access any line to continue working the screen went black again. I don't have access to my work. Does anyone know why?

This is a small continuation of a project from several years ago and I could have had it done today. Instead I wasted the day fighting with Draftsight. Any ideas? This is the screen shot of what I see when I select everything in model space (there is nothing in paper space). Anyone please?

Other Draftsight drawings open fine... it's just this one.  I need help please!
