I created ANSI C and D size drawing templates with all text and dimension formats set for the sheet size (i.e. text height 0.1563")

What I mean is that when the drawing is printed onto a C or D size sheet all text, dimensions, etc will be proper for the printed sheet.

When I import a sheet to a scale to suit my object views everything looks fantastic until I begin adding dimensions or putting in new notes that were not part of the template.

They are full size and differ from the sheet format by whatever scale I imported the template at.

Have I done something wrong with my template.

Am I expected to revise my dimension and text formats to suit the template sheet imported scale every time I start a new drawing?
