I have an annoying issue when I first open a drawing using DraftSight 2D Free 2018 SP2. Upon opening, everything on the drawing seems to be "locked". I cannot select any item, whether singly or using "crossing" selection.

I stumbled on a way around this by just drawing a line anywhere on the drawing. This somehow unlocks it and then I can select items normally. I just have to remember to go back and delete the line.

This started some time ago when I was using a late 2017 version, so I updated to 2018 SP2. I had hoped to do a "clean install" but apparently I didn't delete enough and the issue is still there. I can take drawings from this machine and load them to another laptop using the identical software and they open normally, so it doesn't seem to be "attached" to the drawing.

Can anyone tell me a way to reset all settings to factory default, or properly do a clean install, or t maybe tell me causing this issue?
