I just installed draftsight onto my apple iMac, I really like the way it works but I have run into a serious drawback, I cannot find a way to set the drawing limits to metric. 
when I go to format menu—> unit system —> drawing settings  Any changes there do not set the drawing units to metric (see attached image)

I also tried format menu —> unit system—> drawing settings —> system options—> default scale list.  Here I found a radio button to set the scale list to metric, however if I click this, there is no way to confirm the setting as the apply button remains greyed out, pressing ok and going back to the setting shows it has returned to imperial.

has anyone experienced this issue, is there a workaround or am I missing something, any help would be appreciated
