Every time we try to copy sections of this drawing to another area of the screen the entire drawing disappears.

Looking at the large drawing sheet in the model view, we are trying to copy everything left of upper large rectangle and place it on the smaller sheets to the right.  It fails every time and everything in the model view disappears and you can’t get it back.

Can anyone help with why it does this?
