so, i am currently working on updating our drawing title blocks, all is going well until im getting to this final detail.

i do not know if this is correct, but the way i was instructed to get a border on my draftsight drawing was to insert the .dwg file as a block.

i have all my attributes set up and looking really nice, got them showing up in the dialog box in the correct order and everything. but now im running into a slight problem.  my supervisor is hell-bent on having the "last saved by", "last saved date" and "file location" on the drawing border somewhere.

my problem is that i cannot figure out how to accomplish this so that the auto-filled attributes for the "last saved by" and what-not show the last saved by date and name of the drawing that the block got inserted into. not the block itself. currently i can create new drawing after new drawing after new drawing inserting my title block, and the saved by, saved date and location attributes ALWAYS have the information for the block itself not my new drawing.

i have tried inserting and exploding in different combinations but cant figure it out for the life of me.

any help is greatly appreciated, and please ask if something isnt clear. not sure if my explanation is clear or not to others...lol
