I've seen a question/problem identical to the one I'm having, but still have no resolution. Even my IT department seems to be stumped. This was a previous post, with my same problem, but no answer:
"How do I access "File -> Recover" when V1R3 refuses to start?
I'm DISAPPOINTED in the new version that looked so promising:
I Select the DS-start-up Icon.
The DS splash screen comes up.
Grey panels appear consistent with program layout startup but virtually no text.
A message appears VERY briefly at bottom of screen "Unable to open file. Please attempt File -> Recover".
The screen reverts to my desktop
But I have no idea how to follow the recover procedure since I can not start the program."
I have uninstalled and re-installed 3 or 4 times. I have disabled the AntiVirus software and still no luck. The one thing I have noticed is after uninstalling, re-downloading and re-installing, I am not asked for my email address to activate. Don't know if this is at all related. And since I have uninstalled, I cannot go back to a previous "working" version set-point.
Please help!
