I’m having a really difficult time with draft sight. I am a former autocad PC user, but have since bought a Mac running OSX 10.8.3. I decided to give draftsight a trial on my new computer, and it was interesting for a few weeks. Now for whatever reason, the application will only open part of the way. Tool bars show up, but no drawing screen. I get a rainbow spinning thing that tells me that the computer is not responding/software is not opening. I have tried unloading and loading the new version several times, but it fails to change anything. 

I would like to give Draftsight a try, but may have to resort to purchasing autodesk LT for this Mac. 

I am very frustrated, but can not identify the problem. Perhaps it is something I have done or some other software that is affecting the draft sight program.
