I just downloaded FREE Draftsight and went through the activation process, received the required e-mails from Dassault, etc.

Everything seemed normal but when I try to start Draftsight, the startup screen appears for 5 - 10 seconds then disappears. The software never starts!

I thought it might be this "hotfix" that I noticed as a download, and tried to install that. NO luck. The download unzips and when I run it a command prompt window appears, then immediately a window covers half of it saying no hotfix has been downloaded. (WHAT is that about?)

I used Draftsight in the past and NEVER experienced the amount of frustration that I have trying to get this to work. And in my work I download and install a lot of software. I was considering buying the Professional package, but having a lot of second thoughts now...
