Went to install DS 2017 SP2 (Free). Everytime I open, it asks to activate. After filling in all the details and hitting activate, the program blinks open and immediately closes. If you go to open draftsight again, it asks to activate (and the cycle continues). I don't know if there is a way to get the SP1 .exe and try that or what. However I do really need to get DS up and running asap. 

Note: this is not a re-activation, I am trying to do a fresh reinstall
