I have been evaluating DraftSight 2023 on the 30 day free trial. It's definitely a nice package, but my trial is ending. It will be up to mgt. whether or not we make the change from autocad.

I was able to tweak DraftSight to mimic my acad setup pretty closely, but I will state that I had to do a LOT of Googling to find information on setting up the DraftSight gui to do that. This forum is a start, but there needs to be more resources available - just check out some of the User Forums for acad, or even Bricscad. This particular DraftSight Forum pales in comparison to the resources available to those other two cad programs.

Since I'm signing off for now, I thought I'd share a small sampling of the various settings I discovered in my journey to tweak DraftSight. I hope it is of some value to the users in this forum.
