DraftSight carshing!! I am runnig DraftSight on several different computers that all use Windows XP with the latest updates and video drivers. I use these computers to open and modify AutoCad drawings. DraftSight V1R3 opens the drawings, allows me to edit the drawings i.e. delete entities etc. DraftSight V1R3.1 will not allow me to delete entities wiithout "DraftSight Alert" "The program must close"  etc. ect. ect. The AutoCad dwg's were created using AutoCad 2006 and have I have not experienced the problem before the V1R3.1.

I have to attribute the problem to the latest DraftSight update. Just as a note - I can open the AutoCad dwg in DraftSight, open a "new' file, copy all entities with a reference point and paste it into the new drawing. I can then delete entities in the new drawing with no problems. Maybe the latest DrafSight just has a problem with AutoCad drawings?? I have not tried it with a 64 bit machine but will do so soon. I did see another post that stated basically the same problem.

Any help that can be provided will be greatly appreciated..
