We recently moved to Draftsight 2023 sp1 from AutoCAD 2002. In AutoCAD, we had various custom toolbars and menus that made use of custom image menus linking to various blocks. I have attached 3 pictures showing what they look like.

At first, we were able to import the old AutoCAD .mns file to recreate these customizations. However, DraftSight was crashing every so often. When we removed this customization, all appeared to be well again (no crashing).

Second, we decided to rebuild our customization within Draftsight itself. The only thing we couldn't figured out is how to build image menus in Draftsight. Therefore, we had to import just the image menus from a .mns file. This was a little bit more stable to but still the odd crash.

I'm wondering if this is still the preferred way to customize the UI or is there a more modern approach. I am open to all suggestion. Can we achieve something similar using a different customization?
