I've been using Drafsight for around 5 years and find it to be more than adequate for my drafting requirement.

However, when I am ready to print a drawing, I open the print dialogue box and then the fun starts.

Every click takes upward of 20 seconds to register, and when I eventually get to display print preview, it takes up to two minutes to display the image.

Well, that is when it decides to display the image, sometimes, it is just a blank sheet that is displayed.

I also suffer from spontaneous crashes with no noticeable pattern.

I'm an Electrical engineer, so the drawings are mostly lines and text (with a few hatched areas - nothing fancy).

Things have gotten a lot worse since I went from 2015 version on 32 bit and updated to 2017, 64 bit.

The PC software is Windows 7, 64 bit program

Hardware is: i5 3.2GHz, 4GB ram, 64 bit,

Graphics is: Intel HD4600, 64Mb dedicated, 1696 total graphics.

Direct X 10
