I'm experiencing the issue that applied background masks (for notes) are not being displayed in my drawing's model space. The masks do display in all of my sheets though. It's also of note that when copying and pasting the text to a different DWG the masking DOES work in the other drawing's model space. Here is what I have tried thus far:

1) Setting the display orders so that the notes with a mask are in front of the objects that should be masked.

2) Changing the model background color to black and setting the mask background option within edit text to be that of the model background.

3) Rebuilding and refreshing all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
