Hello All,

I installed DraftSight several months ago in order to open some DXF files. Everything went fine, I had to configure

the proxy settings as my company uses one, I opened my files, printed some stuff and so on. So far so good.

Yesterday I tried to start DraftSight, the splash screen showed up but that was it. In the Windows Task Manager

I see both DraftSight.exe and draftsighthelper.exe but there are no bytes read or written, there is some activity

in other bytes, which is the network traffic I guess. In the performance tab one of the cpu cores stays at almost 100% load,

due to the DraftSight.exe process.

I tried to reinstall the software but the situation remains the same - the only thing I see is the splash screen.

Does anyone else experience the same issue?

BTW, some HW / OS info:

HW: HP EliteBook 8440p (Core i5, 3GB RAM, nVidia Quadro NVS 3100M)

OS: Windows XP SP3 (32-bit)
