I have a recently occuring problem where whenever DS needs to read from the HDD or network it locks the machine and spins the HDD for maybe a minute and then snaps out of it. This happens when starting, when opening a file, saving etc etc, even closing it down. I have removed my AV, re-installed, run CCleaner, tried a new profile and nothing works. Another user logged onto this machine and it works, so we created a new profile for me and it was fixed, for a day or so. It's back to doing it on the new profile. I have removed my AV and there is no change. Thanks for your help
