I have a dell Dell Optiplex with Windows 7 32bit, Intel i5 CPU, 4GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD7470,  

Here are some of the issues I run into with using DraftSight:

1. When I have multiples drawings open, the program crashes and I have to recover all drawings.

2. When using larger drawings, as mentioned above, the program lags, uses a large amount of resources and crashes. 

3. I purchased a professional license, to make use of the PDF import option. When I import PDF's into a drawing, it crashes the program.

4. After i open large drawing, my resources for DraftSight is 1.3GB

I am planning on purchasing new Dell Precision T1700 workstation with Window 7 64 bit, Intel i7 CPU, 8GB RAM, and 2GB Nvidia NVS 510.

Does anyone else seem to have the above issues, and does purchasing a more powerful machine help resolve any of the above issues????
