This software is so good, but with just one problem, it hangs when having a big drawing or having few block references on it and you use commands like trim, extend and dimension.  If you have few block references in the drawing and you try to extend or trim some lines, the program will hang for a while and them it makes the command. It is a headache to make drawing in this software because of this problem. 

I use Debian 64 bit and Draftsight 11.2.705 I installed the 32 bit package forcing the architecture, and I also have Ubuntu 32 bit and the problem is the same when running Draftsight in a 64 bit OS.
