For whatever reason I think DraftSight wants to connect to the internet when I perform certain actions within DrafSight like Zooming of printing to PDF. When it does this the PC freezes for 30-60 seconds which realistically makes the program unusable. It works fine when I disconnect the PC from the network however all of the users files are on the server so this is not an option as they will loose access to them. I've previously had some help via iQuestions but I'm getting nowhere with it. I have tried the following steps so far;
Uninstall/re install latest version
Uninstalled deleted all trace in user profile and Program Files and ran a registry cleaner
Disabled AVG Antivirus
Removed AVG Antivirus
Added Exception to firewall for DraftSight.exe
Disabled Firewall (Windows Firewall)
Bit more background to the setup - Used to be an SBS 2003 server, this has now been replaced with SBS 2008 on a new server. This particular client machine is XP Pro SP2. Worked fine when the old SBS 2003 was in place, not worked right since we migrated to the new domain with the SBS 2008 server. AVG Antivirus across all machines and Windows Firewall.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Rich.
