I am a computer repair technician troubleshooting a problem with Draftsight on a customer's computer. After installing the latest version of Draftsight 15 64-bit, the application either crashed when loading or when bringing up the file open dialog. Occasionally a file could be opened if opening the file directly from explorer, but more often than not it crashed. I made several attempts at installing and re-installing the application, including deleting files from the appdata and programdata folders. I also went through and manually removed all dassault and draftview related registry keys, but the problem persisted. I also tried loading newer video card and chipset drivers to no avail. Finally I reinstalled Windows 7 64-bit SP1 clean. After installing Draftview, I was surprised to find that the problem did not change.
