I have watched the webinar, I have read all the other posts, I have tried modifying the registry , I have added an exception to the firewall but still I cannot get DraftSight to contact its activation server.

I have full admin rights.

I am behind a proxy server, I have no choice I have to live with that, but every other piece of software I use has no problems with a proxy, why does this have to be so hard?

I have tried the activate later option, then within DraftSsite I have tried the menu window\\options\\system Options\\General\\Proxy Server Settings

Whatever I put in to this proxy server setting seems to be forgotten the next time I open DraftSight and I strongly suspect this may be part of the problem.  Is there a way of putting in the required proxy setting into the registry. 

I am tearing my hair out, this is a good programme but it will fail if it’s so difficult to activate.
