I've been using DS Professional since 6 years now and the beta version since 2013. But only in 2022 have I experienced a crippling take-over of the system's RAM, even though it barely occupies any memory - some 160 MB. When launched, the program occupies the same memory and takes up only 3-4% of RAM. But an hour or two into work, the system gets jammed with 97-98% of RAM in use. At this point the only way out is to exit the program and restart. All system diagnostics report no issues, neither dies the antivirus nor do any VRAM issues exist otherwise. Haven't figured out the source of this issue and an looking for a solution. This has been going on since the installation. 2021 had severe stability issues towards the end of my renewal cycle - which has been a pattern till now. But the 'newer' version is practically unusable after an hour. What gives?
