I had been using DraftSight 2017 x64 Free version on Windows 7 for approximately 1 year.
On attempting to open it today, I received a request to Re-Activate the product before I could continue to use it. I completed the Re-Activation screens as requested.
On completion of the Re-Activation process, DraftSight 2017 x64 no longer opens. It gets to the splash screen then goes back to a Windows desktop. There are no error messages displayed.
I tried re-installing with the latest download of DraftSight 2017 SP3 x64 Free version from the Dassault Systems website. This seemed to see the old version and migrated my settings. Unfortunately, on completion of the process, DraftSight still does not open. Again it starts and reaches the splash screen then it returns back to a Windows desktop without any error messages appearing.
I tried uninstalling DraftSight and re-installing the latest version again. The install completes successfully, but when I try and open the application, I get the same problem. It reaches the splash screen then goes back to a Windows desktop without any error messages appearing.
Can anyone offer any solution to this issue?
