I have a windows 10 (64-Bit) system. I downloaded and installed the latest DraftSight Free 2017 SP3 . 

After installation i see the "DraftSight" logo splash screen and a separate window opens and suddenly closes (very fast). I'm unable to see the information in the window.

I Tried installing on another system (windows 7 64-bit) and notice that after the installation a window should appear asking for activation information. I believe this is where the problem lies. The app is trying to open the activation screen but suddenly gets killed.

Any advice?

Here's some troubleshooting steps I've already taken based on other articles on this site:

Uninstalled - deleted folders (program files/appdata/roaming)

Deleted registry keys (activation)

Reinstalled the app. via fresh download from the site

Did the "Video Test"

Disabled firewall (Windows)

Disabled Antivirus (Symantec)

Upgraded video card drivers.
