Hello everyone,
I'm having a weird problem with Draftsight 2017 SP2 on Windows 10. When I try to save or open a drawing, it crashes if there is already a DWG file there. For exemple, if I save a drawing on the desktop (with no DWG file there) it is fine. If I try to open said file or save another one to the desktop, it will crash because the file explorer is seeing a DWG file. I have tried browsing to different folders and, as far as I can tell, it will always, and only, crash when there is a DWG file present.
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall Draftsight 2017 SP2, tried with Draftsight 2017 SP1, run as administrator, activated compatiblity mode (Windows 8), ran in safe mode (got a warning regarding my video card drvier but I was able to replicate the problem), tried from another local admin account, deleted my Draftsight profile from the options to start a fresh one and everytimes I got the same error.
I have also unstinalled my Anti-virus just to make sure and updated my video card driver and installed all Windows Updates.
I have attached a screenshot of the error, unfortunatly it seems to be generic and it's in french. It roughly translate to :
The program needs to close. You can try to save modification in : "insert path here"
Changes saved are those before the last used command.
Would you like to try and save those modifications ?
I'm out of ideas, Any help is welcomed.
Regards
Mathieu
