I updated to DS SP3 on my Windows 7 64-bit machine this morning as I have an issue with a drawing.

Basically I have a simple flat 2D drawing (a house), and I use DS to enquire on the drawing (I'm not an AT). When I navigate to the file and double click to open, DraftSight crashes completely.

The client's drawing, on which this is based, is drawn using Vector Works, so I suspect this is the issue.    However, I have got our drawing office to export the drawing using AutoCAD as autocad object.................and then I can open it using DS.

However, every time the drawing is updated (by the client), I cannot open it, and I have to get our AutoCAD user to re-export it just so I can open it.

We cleaned and purged the file, and for the like of me cannot see what is in the drawing that is causing it to crash my DS.

Any ideas ??
