While going to Help --> Check for Updates does load https://www.draftsight.com/support/draftsight-download there is no indication as to whether the current software is out of date. It makes reference to 2020, but is that SP4, or another release? It would be much better to have the check built into DraftSight (like free software such as Notepad++), but if you are going to go with the web approach, then please show us which version is available for download.
