Seems so if my experience is anything to go by.

I upgraded to DS R1V2 when the update became available and all went well until a week or so back when my start-up times changed from less than 10 seconds to around 45 seconds each time I started the program.

Today I upgraded my graphics card driver --- for no reason other than an update was available.

The next, and all subsequent DS program starts since, have been of the order of 5 to 7 seconds --- more like the times before the slowdown.

I find it hard to believe that the driver update did that -- but it sure seems that it happened here.

Has anyone got another explanation for the change ? ? ?
