Just a little more on the disappearing tools.  I mentioned that when I add tools to the matrix they disappear when opening / closing DS or when opening new files or making changes via preferences.  So I tried customizing one of the three toolbars that always appear.   The Draw toolset.  I added dimension tools, layer tools and maybe one or two others.  They stay in place!  

Hopefully someone from DS is paying attention to this forum and can address this issue.

There are a few others.  I have invested a lot of time trying to make this work for me, willing to pay for a fully functioning product but my productivity is down and frustration up so I may have to move on to something stable.
