I'm using the free version on a mac, and have text that is over a hatched area and I'm trying to edit it but every time I select it, it goes behind the hatch so I can't see what I'm doing. I've already gone through the whole birng-to-front process, and it looks fine until I double click it for editing, when it immediately disappears. I can come up with a work around to get the job done, but it has never done this to me before and I'm trying to make sure I don't run into the issue again! Does anyone know how to keep it to the front during editing?
