I am currently working on a building project and need to calculate the lineal metres of walls on a ground floor plan as well as floor area. I have the floor plan in draftsight format and have used the dimension tab etc but it is rather time consuming. I was wondering is there some short cut way to measure all walls and floor area from a defined floor plan layout.
